The system used by almost 1,400 secondary school in the UK comes amid fears that bulling, racism , homophobia , self- harm and sexually explicity messages may be going unnoticed because of confusion over pupils vocabulary
Jonathan Valentine , found of impero , the software company behind the programme, told the times educational supplement that it was increasingly diffult for teacher to keep us with slang. and twacher are also able to consult the dictionary to check for the meaning of any phrases overhead in corridors.....
Because of the help of pupils themselves the dictionary was created he said "The list can be used in any school across the country but can also be added to if necessary" he said " we've been told that it has already alerted school staff to a potential suicid"
Pupils from LAURENCE JACKSON school in Cleveland helped to developed the programme.[ It's a very comprehensive list of worlds. we are able to contribute our own world to take into account regional variation , because a swear world in the North East may be different elsewhere]---Mary King, one of the school's senior teacher told .......
